Recently one of my local repeaters has had IRLP enabled again, I spent some time trying to connect with my Baofeng UV-17 but didn't have any luck using the methods I was advised to use. After some testing, I have found the "right" way to do this and have made a video to demonstrate this.
I am an amateur radio operator (VK7AAL) from Launceston Tasmania. I mostly work the VHF and UHF bands. I am also a keen software developer, in both JustBasic and Python.
