Video - Programming a TASGRN Site in Uniden Sentinel

Programming a Tasmanian Government Radio Network (TASGRN) site into a Uniden scanner can seem a little daunting at first, particularly if you are new to trunked radio systems.

The good news is that once you understand the basic structure of a P25 trunked system, programming a TASGRN site in Uniden Sentinel is relatively straightforward.

In this video, I walk through the process of programming a TASGRN site into Sentinel, including the important settings and information you need to enter to get the scanner monitoring the site correctly.
Rather than going through every setting again here, the video below provides a practical, step-by-step demonstration of the process.

The same basic principles can be applied when programming other TASGRN sites, although the frequencies and site information will obviously vary.

If you're getting started with TASGRN scanning, this is a good place to begin before moving on to more advanced topics such as site identification, control-channel monitoring, system analysis and discovering new frequencies or talkgroups.

Watch the video below and follow along with your scanner and Uniden Sentinel.
